How It All Began
Flashpackers Bir was born in 2019 from a simple vision: to create the ultimate adventure base where travelers from India and around the world could experience world-class paragliding, rock climbing, mountain biking, and authentic Himalayan culture while staying connected to their digital lives. Our founder discovered Bir during a paragliding expedition and was captivated by its unique position as India's premier paragliding destination and gateway to the Himalayas.
What started as a small guesthouse has evolved into one of India's most beloved adventure hostels, welcoming both domestic travelers exploring their own country and international visitors discovering the magic of the Himalayas. We've hosted over 8,000 guests from 65+ countries including USA, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Israel, South Korea, and many more. We've organized thousands of paragliding adventures, facilitated countless cultural exchanges, and created a space where adventure enthusiasts from every background form lifelong friendships while pushing their limits in the Himalayas.
Today, we're more than just accommodation – we're an adventure hub, cultural bridge, and digital nomad base all in one.
